It only takes a cup of tea - in conversation with Kimberley Jiyigas.
Event description
How can you show your funders you’ve achieved your outcomes over a cup of tea?
Anyone working in social enterprise can tell you the struggles of operating within the Australian social enterprise ecosystem – however, not everyone would be able to:
a) Understand the challenges of supporting remote Indigenous women across social enterprise;
b) Know the ins and outs of working in the Kimberleys and;
c) Be consistently hitting their funding outcomes.
Natasha Short (Founder of Kimberley Jiyigas) and Maree Cutler Naroba (Business Development Manager, Kimberley Jiyigas) are two entrepreneurs doing just this. They agree that most funders are looking for a checkbox, but in reality, these milestones are often reached through important conversations under a mango tree with a cuppa in hand.
Learn more from these phenomenal Impact North members about the realities of working with grassroots entrepreneurs in Northern Australia with this inspirational storytelling morning.
Don’t forget your cuppa!
