    Event description

Would you like a fun night enjoying live music and swing dancing? The south coast swing scene has been coming alive over the last year or so. Why? Because it's so fun!

Jazztrix and Rosé will play swinging tunes for your dancing and listening pleasure, at Denmark Country Club on Saturday 9th of November.

What’s more, you can join in a bonus swing dance lesson from 6:30 p.m., with Andrew Kowald and Dot Roberts, before live music flows from 7 to 10 p.m.

Jazztrix are one of the Great Southern’s leading jazz ensembles, who since 2011 have opened for acts such as Jammes Taylor, Carol King, James Morrison, Diana Krall and more, as well as playing tribute concerts to Miles Davis, Billie Holiday, Burt Bacharach and more.

Jazztrix will be co-fronted by Rosé and David Rastrick. Rosie its well known in the region for her scintillating and soulful singing. David, Jazztrix’ band-facilitator, will feature on tantalising trumpets and vocals. Between Rosé and David, you can expect some pretty daggy jokes!

Rosé and David will be joined by some of the finest jazz musicians in Great Southern WA; Ross Dwyer on guitar, Adam Cook on keyboard, Grant Moulden on upright bass, and Lauchlan Gillett on drum-set.
