Are you a parent or carer of a child aged 2 - 4 years and would like to learn more about how to support your child's development through everyday moments? 

The It's All about You and Me is a 5 session program with fortnightly sessions covering a different topic which helps parents learn ways they can enhance their child's development through every day, play activities. Sessions will be delivered by Wanslea's team of paediatric allied health professionals and early childhood educators.

Sessions include:

  • ‘Move with Me’: Join in with fun music and movement activities to help little bodies to grow strong
  • ‘Be with Me’: Connect with your child through games and activities to help encourage your child’s communication skills and understanding their emotions
  • ‘Play with Me’: Lots of fun ideas to encourage play skills, using everyday objects around the house
  • ‘Feel with Me’: Get your hands messy with different activities and food play, to help your child experience lots of sensations
  • ‘All about You’: A session just for you, to learn ways to look after yourself and cope with the challenges of parenting

Sessions are held every second Thursday, from 1.00 - 2.00 pm on the below dates:

  • July 25 
  • August 8  
  • August 22
  • September 5 
  • September 19 

Eligibility to attend:

  • Attendees must live in Alexander Heights, Balga, Girrawheen, Koondoola, Marangaroo, Mirrabooka, Nollamara or Westminster
  • Attendees must be able to attend all five sessions
  • One parent or caregiver per child is required to attend with their child 

There is no creche available for these sessions so it is asked that parents arrange care for any other children while you attend It's All About You and Me.
