This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

Have you ever participated in a workshop and left feeling it missed the mark? Have you ever facilitated a workshop and left wondering what it was about and what was achieved? You’re not alone! Design that creates engagement has been especially tested during this recent year of online connecting for so many workplaces. Many of the problems we experience in workshops come down to the design.

We’re delighted to welcome our special guest, Jacinta Cubis, facilitator, mentor, writer and speaker, to ODA. Jacinta will guide us through an exploration of workshop design. Come join us and discover why design is important, what we get wrong and what we can do better. We’ll get to see Jacinta in action and leave feeling energised and with facilitation tips and tricks. Check out what others have said about Jacinta.

Can’t wait to see you online!

Jacinta Cubis

Jacinta lights up the room and the screen with her energy, creativity and enthusiasm. She helps people see what matters to their stakeholders and communities as a facilitator, and themselves as a mentor and coach. For 20 years, she has led and facilitated engagement, collaborations and partnerships on diverse issues for government, education and community sectors, for 5 to 500 people.

Jacinta is like a director on a film set. In charge and gently guiding crew and actors to create. Jacinta senses what a group needs at just the right time and how to mine the gold in their thinking. She creates a respectful and compassionate space for robust conversations. Jacinta is a leading thinker in facilitation, collaboration and engagement, and loves contributing as an author and speaker. She created HUM, an illustrated e-book, to help people fix problems with online meetings and workshops. IAP2 accredited and a partnership broker, Jacinta has tertiary qualifications in corporate social responsibility, international relations and communications.

Find out more about Jacinta by visiting her website and she’d love to connect with you on Linked In, Instagram and Facebook.
