It's In the Bag Donation

This holiday season, Zion Ark is partnering with Share the Dignity in their “It’s in the Bag” campaign to make a meaningful impact in the lives of women, girls, and those who menstruate, facing challenges such as homelessness, domestic violence, or poverty. Share the Dignity’s mission is to provide essential support to those at risk, and this campaign aims to make Christmas a bit brighter for those living in crisis.

The “It’s in the Bag” initiative invites us all to fill and donate bags for Adult, Teen, or Mum & Bub categories. These bags are filled with essential personal care items that help recipients feel seen, cared for, and supported during a difficult time. Our volunteers at Zion Ark are gathering these essentials, and we need your support to make it happen.

What We’re Collecting

We’re seeking donations for essentials that will go into the bags, including:

• Basic Care Items: Shampoo, conditioner, body wash or soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant (roll-on preferred), and a sealed packet of pads and/or tampons.
• Additional Items for Mum & Bub Bags: Maternity and breast pads, baby wipes, dummies, and a range of optional luxury items such as towels, newborn nappies, baby shampoo, baby wash, nappy rash cream, and disposable nappy bags.
