Kenvale College and the Italian Wine Society will host their 5-week Italian Wine Course. Presenter of the course is Daniel Marcella, Italian wine sommelier and founder of the Italian Wine Society.

The Italian Wine Society is a collection of authentic Italian wine experts who spread the gospel of Italian wine, its biodiversity, culture, and history in Australia. Mixing education, network & pleasure, all in one place. How Italian!

How many times were you not able to interpret the terms written on a wine label? Do you understand the grapes or the appellation systems of Italian Wine?
With this unique fast track course created by the Italian Wine Society, you will
have the opportunity to take the first step toward the magical world of Italian
wines. Become a connoisseur, be confident in understanding wine.
This is a unique course designed for you to discover the beauty of the Italian
peninsula and travel with your imagination, sip by sip! 

During the 5 week course while you graze on Italian Salumi you will be tasting Italian wines from- Franciacorta- Barolo- Barbaresco- Brunello di Montalcino- Amarone della Valpolicella- Etna- Chianti e Chianti Classico, and grape varieties such as : - Primitivo- Barbera- Moscato- Sangiovese

With borders closed around the world, Italy has never been so close and understanding Italian Wines have never been so simple!

Course Details:

Course: $750 for the 5-week course ($150 per class)

Dates and Times of course:
Italian wine course will be held on consecutive Friday evenings at Kenvale, at 6.30 pm, for five two hours per class.
The dates follow
     

  • 18th of June
  • 25th of June
  • 2nd of July
  • 9th of July
  • 16th of July

Upon completion, participants will obtain a Certificate of Attendance.
