Packing Party: Its In The Bag for Share The Dignity
Event description
Help us make a difference this Christmas! We’re proud to support Share the Dignity’s “It’s In The Bag” campaign, providing essential items to women and girls experiencing homelessness, fleeing domestic violence, or doing it tough. Every bag packed reminds a woman she is seen, valued, and deserving of dignity. 💗
Pippa will be collecting donated bags from Bunnings throughout the week and we'll be checking the contents and adding anything that's required. You can also bring along your own donations or a complete bag - Details click here.
When: Friday 21st November, 12:30-2pm
Where: Location given on registration (Kangaroo Point)
Cost: Free to attend
What to bring: Either a complete bag (details of contents above) or full-sized essentials like period products, shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush, toothpaste, roll-on deodorant, soap/body wash, and a new or good-condition handbag/bag.
Can’t make it but still want to help? You can make a donation here: https://www.sharethedignity.org.au/fundraisers/kateolive (Kate is one of our Social Mums Club owners)
Together, let’s spread kindness and dignity this festive season. 🌸

I'm confident you'll enjoy the Social Mums Club Experience.
Here's what we do to ensure you feel as comfortable as possible at Social Mums Club Events…
We tend to keep our events small - so you don't have to walk into a big group
We have really clear signage, and the host wears a bright pink t-shirt so you can easily spot us - you don't have to worry that you might be in the wrong place or with the wrong group
Our events are never cliquey - the ladies at the event are usually meeting for the very first time, so you will not be the only person who doesn't know anyone
You can come early - we know the hardest part about turning up to an event is walking in. We invite anyone who is anxious to reach out to the host and turn up 15 minutes early so you are the first one there. You can sit next to the host too.
We ensure you feel included - another fear is that nobody will talk to you or you'll feel awkward or different. Our hosts are experts at making every attendee feel welcome and included. You will feel at ease with us.
