ITS NOT ALL IN YOUR HEAD - Navigating Medical Dismissal & Anxiety
Description
Totally Fine Co and Within Reach are coming together for an online workshop about chronic illness, medical dismissal and healthcare anxiety.
We’ll explore how stress and anxiety can affect appointments, how to prepare and advocate for yourself, and how to better understand your capacity when living with chronic illness.
We’ll also talk about recognising when your body needs you to slow down, setting boundaries during flares, and finding ways to make healthcare feel less overwhelming.
This workshop is about practical tools, feeling more prepared, and understanding what is happening beneath the stress.
You’ll leave with practical strategies you can use before and during healthcare appointments, a clearer way to organise what you want to communicate, and a workbook to help you put what we cover into practice.
