IWC Leadership Lab 2026 - Driving and Surviving Processes of Organisational Change: Leadership Lessons

We are pleased to announce the IWC Leadership Lab - a new annual event for bringing together emerging and established water leaders from across the globe to build the skills, insights and networks needed to drive meaningful change.

This year’s Lab focuses on a critical leadership challenge that many water leaders are facing: how to successfully lead significant processes of organisational change, from restructures to cultural transformation, and how to help teams navigate these processes. 

What you'll gain from the Lab:

• Practical strategies for self-leadership to perform at your best whilst navigating significant periods of change

• Tools for team leadership to guide others through disruption, uncertainty and transition

• Strategies to initiate and drive change processes across the organisation, including how to avoid common pitfalls

• Opportunities to engage directly with experienced executive leaders and IWC experts

• A psychologically safe space to ask questions, share experiences and learn from peers globally

This year's guest speakers are two executive water leaders who will share their insights and experiences with 'driving and surviving' processes of organisational change:

• Debbie Schroeder, Executive General Manager, People and Governance, Sydney Water

• Martine Watson, Chief Digital and Information Officer, Urban Utilities

We will also hear from IWC's leadership coaches Dr Andre Taylor and Belinda Chapman, with the session being facilitated by Dr Brian McIntosh.
