Event description

Wesley College is named after John Wesley, someone who championed the importance of learning as a pathway to fulfilling each individual’s potential.

This year we are hosting Gemma Sisia, in many ways an Australian modern day version of John Wesley. Gemma saw the need to improve the educational outcomes of impoverished young people in Tanzania as a way of lifting them and their families out of poverty. Her story is compelling and the young people who have benefited from this incredible education are achieving great things.

Join us for breakfast then be inspired as you hear from Gemma and some alumni about The School of St Jude in Tanzania.

7.15am Breakfast in Rose Garden

8.00am Keynote address in Adamson Hall

9.00am Event conclusion

Presented in partnership with Wesley Parents St Kilda Road.
