Event description
This is our last IXDA Brisbane for 2022 before our Christmas drinks and once again Skedulo has been kind enough to let us use their wonderful event space and provide drinks.
Our speakers on the night will be;
Matthew Grove
Associate Director, Symplicit
Matthew is a multi disciplinary designer who currently acts as Associate Director and Head of Universal Design and Accessibility at Symplicit. His interests consider the philosophy of design, and design that acts on the senses. As a leader in the design industry, Mathew is constantly expanding his knowledge to better understand emerging trends, technology, and best practice usability and accessibility standards to ensure good design is met.
His talk will be..."How to consider everyone in everything we design?"
Matthew will give an overview of the current state of the philosophy of good design, and explore how changing ones perception of current practices can improve your designs reach.
Phil Lew
Phil is an experienced and versatile Service Designer who has worked on a variety of problems for startup, government and not for profit organisations.
Recently acknowledged with an Australian Good Design Award, he enjoys working with diverse teams and applying the many lessons he learnt as a touring musician to his work.
His talk will be; "Creativity in Everyone!"
Experience, design, product, project or music… Whatever your jam is, creativity can be applied by anyone.
Phil will be sharing some practical tips and tricks that can help infuse creativity in our professional and personal lives.
