J-Calvin

J-Calvin is a soul-funk-groove band based in Durango, Colorado, known for their infectious rhythms, jazz-infused harmonies, and lyrically rich songwriting. The band first came together on New Year’s Eve 2017, blending their diverse musical backgrounds into a cohesive, genre-bending sound rooted in soul, funk, and hip-hop grooves.

In 2018, J-Calvin released their debut album Heart Glow to a sold-out crowd at the iAM Music Fest and followed it up with a standout showcase at the Telluride Jazz Festival. Within just two years, they played over 150 shows across the Western U.S., lighting up stages at some of the region’s top venues and festivals.

The band continues to evolve, with new releases like their concept EP Don't Stop Me and a companion video project pushing their sound in fresh directions. Outside the spotlight, each member is deeply involved with iAM MUSIC, a nonprofit music school and creative hub dedicated to empowering youth, supporting local artists, and growing community through music education and collaboration.

Riley J Band

The Riley J Band is an entertaining, groovy, R&B/Soul group. The leader of the band is exceptional lead vocalist and performer, Riley J, whose soulful voice and community organizing, has earned her a following. With influences ranging from Amy Winehouse, Lawrence, Billie Eilish, Lake Street Dive, and Yebba, the band crafts original music that resonates with fans across genres and styles. The band includes Andres Santana, Pablo Argote, Ryan O'Malley, and Riley J. Formed in 2023, the Riley J Band quickly made a name for themselves in Boulder, CO, from hosting their own patio shows at Trident Cafe, to having 200 sold tickets at Roots Music Project, to headlining the Fox Theatre in Feb 2025. ​ Riley J’s latest released EP, The Caribou Sessions, was live tracked and recorded at the The Caribou Room in Nederland, CO, and showcases the bands raw live talent, Riley J's impressive vocals, and sassy, clever songwriting.
