Event description

NICE AGENCY PRES. AN EARLY EVE OF ALL LIVE ELECTRONICS:

Mulubinba/Newcastle's J. Campbell makes a rare visit to Naarm to launch his new album on Nice Music, 'Erosion Of Memory' - a dramatic sandstorm through near-beatless landscapes, mapping Campbell's intrinsic understanding of family, familiarity and the firmament surrounding him.

Stalwart of the Naarm DIY experimental music scene for over a decade, Nina Buchanan has lent her deft hand to all manner of electronic sound explorations, informed as much by the instruments at her disposal as by a punk political discourse; forging new manipulations in sound while evoking sonic histories.

B.C. Slumber is the creative project of Benji Colbourne, a Melbourne-based producer specializing in electronic music and the implementation of vintage synthesizers and drum machines into contemporary production. In recent years Slumber focuses on hauntological themes to further explore human feel in electronic music and blending dancefloor rhythms with introspective ambience.

Swords is the solo practice of Tiffany Alwis, continuing her electronic productions following on from her residency with renowned MESS (Melbourne Electronic Sound Studio).

Early start at 5pm.
