JACK LADDER PLAYS PIANO
Description
With twenty years of skin in the game Jack Ladder has built and destroyed his own world several times over, leaving only his seductive baritone as a bridge to navigate between.
Faking his way as a folk singer on his 2005 debut, Ladder reveals himself in 2026 as a true connoisseur of all noises from neoclassical to new wave, country and techno pop.
Throughout his career he has been seen onstage playing in the bands of Bill Callahan, Alex Cameron and Weyes Blood and requested as opening act for Angel Olsen, Father John Misty, John Cale and The Killers – twice – to open their stadium sized celebrations. Sharon Van Etten has even sung on his songs.
Now, for the first time, he will perform his songs solo on piano for the public in this special Sunday afternoon recital setting. Expect songs from throughout his career with a heavy dose of last years Separation Rock and 2021's cinematic Hijack!
This is an intimate affair not to be missed.
