Mr Antoine Jaja, the visionary creator and author of Jack the Super Prawn (JTSP), Children's Environmental Education Multimedia Brand, together with his dedicated team, proudly presents Australia's first revolutionary environmental education program, an immersive, design-based learning experience specifically tailored for Australian primary schools, with strong potential for future expansion into secondary education. This program is delivered through the Jack the Super Prawn ‘Pollution Solution Students Conference Day’ 2026 Livestream Virtual Event, marking the third annual conference of this ground-breaking initiative.
As both an educator and an inspiring mascot, Jack the Super Prawn embodies the JTSP Brand’s mission to empower children with environmental education awareness and responsibility. Through empathy-driven storytelling, interactive learning, and engaging activities, Jack enables students to understand and address critical environmental challenges, including water conservation, air quality, littering, plastic pollution, and other ecological issues caused by human activity.

Participating students focus on one of the ‘11 Types of Pollution’ listed in our Program Run Sheet, working together to explore, design, and propose practical solutions to real-world environmental challenges.
The JTSP team is honoured to continue leading this transformative initiative and is pleased to announce the third annual event, scheduled for Thursday, 7 May 2026, to be hosted by Waverley College. Together, we remain committed to empowering young Australians with the knowledge, skills, and inspiration needed to build a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable future for generations to come.

Syllabus Connections
The series of adventure storybooks that feature the world’s first super prawn ocean hero, Jack the Super Prawn, shows strong alignment with the new Science and Technology K-6 (2024) and Human Society and its Environment (HSIE) K-6 (2024) syllabuses, which have been released to schools and are due for implementation by 2027.
The series also aligns with the current Science and Technology K-6 syllabus (2019), which is being phased out.
There is also alignment to the Australian Curriculum V9.0 Science.
Note: All NSW schools use the NSW Science and Technology K-6 syllabuses developed by NESA. They have been developed to incorporate (and often extend upon) the Australian Curriculum.
Event Host / MC
Ms Silvia Baylie - is a distinguished educator and corporate consultant specialising in the integration of Engineering, Physics, and Ecology. After twenty years of leading complex projects in the corporate sector, Silvia shifted her focus to secondary education, a move motivated by a desire to bring authentic industry insights to the next generation of innovators. She has a strong belief that ’real-life’ experience is the most powerful tool for student engagement.
Beyond the classroom, Silvia is a Board Director for Curriculum Clarity Syllabus Solutions and an active member of the University of Sydney’s Faculty of Engineering Teachers Advisory Panel. She is the visionary behind the creation of an annual Ecology Symposium involving hundreds of students across various New South Wales (NSW) schools, reflecting her deep-seated passion for sustainability and her ability to bridge the gap between education and industry. Known for her sophisticated approach to Environmental, Social, and Governance(ESG) and technical science, Silvia remains dedicated to fostering educational pathways that are grounded in ecological integrity and professional rigour.

Following this, the team will then email the school the '2026 Program Run Sheet,' which provides the scheduled timeline of activities and comprehensive event instructions for the day. All participating primary schools will join the event virtually through a livestream conference in the morning.
Books
To date, seven (7) adventure storybooks in the Jack the Super Prawn series have been written and are officially endorsed by ANSTO. The titles Pollution Solution and Drastic Plastic are published and distributed in Australia and New Zealand and are available for individual purchase, bulk orders, or discounted packs through Lioncrest Education. A further five (5) new titles are planned for future release. Copies are also available from all good bookstores across Australia. Primary schools across Australia are invited to participate in this Livestream Virtual Event by purchasing a ticket through the Humantix platform for AUD $100 per school.
Upon completion of the purchase, the Jack the Super Prawn (JTSP) team will receive an automatic notification and will provide your school with a comprehensive 2026 Program Run Sheet. This document will include the full event schedule, activity timelines, and all necessary instructions for the day.
A separate confirmation email containing the official conference access link will be sent closer to the event date.

To date, there have been two Jack the Super Prawn 'Pollution Solution Students Conference Days' held, with a third scheduled for later this year:
2024: The inaugural conference was held on 14 May 2024, and was hosted by St John XXIII Catholic College, Stanhope Gardens.
2025: The second annual conference took place on 13 May 2025, and was hosted by St John XXIII Catholic College, Stanhope Gardens.
2026: The third annual event is scheduled for 7 May 2026, and will be hosted by Waverley College, Waverley.

The event is open to all primary schools from across the education spectrum, including public, independent, and Catholic schools, etc. across Australia, for students aged 5 - 12 years of age. Because it is a livestream virtual event, any school with an internet connection can participate, regardless of its physical location.
- Where can our school purchase a ticket to participate in the event?
Your school can purchase a ticket for the event directly through the Humanitix platform.
1. At the top menu, click the ‘Use current location’ box and select ‘Online.’
