ABOUT THE BOOK

In a time of crisis, Better Things Are Possible is a call to courage, connection, and action.

We’re living through a time of urgent, undeniable need for change. Enter Jack Toohey—a skilled communicator with a rare ability to make complex issues clear, relatable, and actionable. In Better Things Are Possible, he offers a compelling manifesto for progress, dismantling the apathy and helplessness that so often accompany today’s biggest challenges. From the housing crisis and climate change to gender inequity, mental health, and a disconnected political class, Toohey reveals how many of our social and political failures are deeply interconnected—and how we can begin to fix them. If you're feeling overwhelmed by the state of the world, you're not alone. But we built these systems, and that means we can reimagine them. This book is a rallying cry—for hope over cynicism, action over inaction. It’s about shifting the narrative to create real and lasting change.
