After 300 years of slumber, three sister witches are accidentally resurrected in Salem on Halloween night, and it is up to three kids and their newfound feline friend to put an end to the witches’ reign of terror once and for all.
For over 30 years, Disney has held a spell over Halloween audiences thanks to Hocus Pocus. This 1993 film is the crowning champion of poorly received holiday movies that became classics thanks to devoted fans and a cult following.
Coined a ‘theatrical flop’, Hocus Pocus left its mark on a generation of young viewers. Today, those of us who loved this film share it with our kids, and appreciation for it has grown significantly.
The cult-classic family comedy about three witches (played to campy perfection by Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy) who just want to suck the lives out of little children and live forever has become the definitive Halloween movie and a pop-culture staple — a mainstream cult classic for the social media generation.
We encourage you to bring the whole family before heading out for Trick or Treat and enjoy an afternoon of spooky dress-ups and fun activities, including giveaways and prizes for the best dressed.
