Jacob Mullen’s debut album is a collection of original jazz compositions, bringing together a group of Christchurch musicians to explore a modern take on the jazz tradition.

The album captures the energy, creativity and spontaneity of playing together in the studio. After a long process of writing, recording, mixing and mastering, Jacob is excited to finally share the album.

More about Jacob

Jacob Mullen is an award-winning jazz guitarist, teacher, and composer. He is the leading member of Yugo, a jazz fusion band, and has also performed with bands such as Roster and Chicks from Corea. Currently, Jacob is in his final year of a Bachelor’s degree in Jazz Guitar, continuing to develop his sound and craft.

His work blends technical skill with creative expression, and he is passionate about sharing music through performance, composition, and education.
