Jammin Da House: An ONA Coffee Latte Art Throwdown

Welcome to Jammin Da House, an unmissable celebration of latte art mastery. This is where Canberra's best baristas come to pour, compete, and claim their place at the top.

$20 registration for competitors. Spectators are free - grab a ticket and come and hang out.

All proceeds of the night will go towards Water For Good, a heart filled project that ONA is involved with. We are on a mission to transform lives by providing sustainable access to safe water by building water wells in places that need it most.

There will be food, drinks and awesome tunes provided on the night, so everyone prepare yourself for an awesome party!!!

The competition will run as a single elimination format. Baristas will go pour for pour in a elimination battle judged by three visual judges. The visual judges will be evaluating each pour based on the following:

• contrast - how well balanced is the latte art against the canvas.

• symmetry - how symmetrical is the latte art presented.

• difficulty - what degree of difficulty is the latte art presented rated (judged in free pour rounds).

• creativity - how creative is the latte art that's been presented.

• Cleanliness - how clean is the cup presented.

At the beginning of each round, competitors will be allocated their pour for the round. There will also be free pour rounds where each competitor can choose what they wish to pour for the judges - free pour rounds will also allow etching.

Competitors will be pouring into 6oz ceramic cups. Milk jugs will be provided but competitors are encouraged to bring their own.

Throughout the night however, there will randomly be wildcard matches which will surprise the competitors with certain challenges. So be prepared for anything.

Whether you’re a seasoned latte art competitor or just love the craft, this is the event where community, coffee, and creativity collide. So to all the competitors, pour with purpose!
