January Intermediate Obedience Class in West Roxbury
Event description
Intermediate Obedience class will take place at the Theodore Parker Church in West Roxbury, MA on Tuesdays at 6:00pm to 6:50pm for 7 sessions: 1/28, 2/04, 2/11, 2/18, 2/25, 3/04, and 3/11.
For this course to run, there is a minimum of 4 students required, this course will be postponed if we cannot meet course requirements.
Topics will include focused attention and engagement, staying in the sit and down positions, recall with distractions, go to a mat, loose leash walking, and polite greetings. This course is great for dogs that already have an obedience foundation that need to continue their education and have a knowledge of mark and reward based training. Please contact us if you would like to know if this class is right for your dog.
This course is appropriate for dogs older than 6 months of age and for those dogs that do not excessively bark, lunge, or growl at strangers and other dogs. If your dog has trouble working around other dogs or humans, please reach out. Our new "Reactivity Meets Real World" program may be right for you.
