Dungeons and Dragons - Tabletop Adventures Campaign (New Adventure)

Monday 13th of January, 10am - 3pm. Filmbites 6/31 Oxleigh Drive Malaga. Ages 13 - 17. Doors open at 9:45am and close at 3:15pm

Led by seasoned Game Master Grace, as a team of six players, you will be guided to create your own epic tale in this day long game of Dungeons and Dragons. Get creative making your own character and feel the pressure make challenging decisions and solving complex puzzles. 

*This new adventure session is designed for students who have already completed the 'Target Nebula' adventure.

Makeup SFX

Monday 20th of January, 11am - 1pm @ Filmbites, 6/31 Oxleigh Drive Malaga. Ages 10 - 17. Doors open at 10:45am and close at 1:15pm.

Taught by industry professional Stephanie Davis, learn the technical skills of Makeup SFX through the fun of doing it!

Junior Screen Acting

Tuesday 21st of January, 10am - 3pm. Filmbites 6/31 Oxleigh Drive Malaga. Ages 8 - 12. Doors open at 9:45am and close at 3:15pm

This workshop is an introduction to acting in front of the camera! If you want to learn the important differences between stage and screen acting through creating your own scene this workshop is for you!

Make a Movie

Tuesday 21st of January, Wednesday 22nd of January and Thursday 23rd of January; 10am - 3pm. Filmbites 6/31 Oxleigh Drive Malaga. Ages 10 - 16. Doors open at 9:45am and close at 3:15pm daily. 

Learn the ins and outs of Filmmaking in this three day workshop. All participants are hands on in camera equipment, directing, acting and more! At the end of the three days participants will walk away with their own group film as well as the skills to plan, film and edit a short film.

Animation

Wednesday 22nd of January, 10am - 3pm. Filmbites 6/31 Oxleigh Drive Malaga. Ages 8 - 12. Doors open at 9:45am and close at 3:15pm

 Learn the interface and navigation for Tahoma, a free software you can learn to use to create super fun animations. This is an exceptional skill to learn if you ever wish to work in the growing entertainment, content creation and resources industries.

Game Design 

Thursday the 23rd of January, 10am - 3pm. Filmbites 6/31 Oxleigh Drive Malaga. Ages 8 - 12. Doors open at 9:45am and close at 3:15pm

Why just play games when you can learn how to make them. In this workshop you’ll learn how to make 3 different types of games, using Gamemaker software, then get to play each others games. Super fun day for gamers!

Green Screen  

Friday 24th of January, 10am - 3pm. Filmbites 6/31 Oxleigh Drive Malaga. Ages 10 - 16. Doors open at 9:45am and close at 3:15pm

Be a part of both the crew and cast by devising and filming short scenes in Filmbites’ very own green screen studio. Then, head into the computer lab to learn, hands-on, how to add your very own special effects from industry professionals.
