Jasmine's Story Showcase

Jasmine's Story is a story based on Guangzhou back in the 1990s, where a lot of factories were emerging. Attracted a lot of female workers to leave their hometown to go to South China, for higher wages, a more fashionable life and their dreams. Story surround by a young girl named Jasmine and her work partner Lily, but also other girls works in the factory. They share life and work space, have warm friendships and sometimes arguments, but they all have their own precious stories. In this musical, we talk about love and loss, family and dreams, and the desire to be seen and be known. Cooperating with Guangzhou Opera House, script by Yu Liao and music by Ziqi Liang.
