Event description

James Alexander is the Co-founder and Partner at Galileo Ventures – Australia’s newest seed venture capital fund.

Galileo invests in the next generation of emerging founders building world changing technology companies. Galileo has backed 10 global startups to date and supports founders through the exclusive Galileo Platform.

James has helped entrepreneurs launch well over 120 companies since 2012.

In James' words, "What I've learned supporting young entrepreneurs launch over 100+ startups since 2012:"

- A revolution in entrepreneurship is underway.

- The world's next biggest innovations are 'hidden' inside our most ambitious emerging founders.

- Young entrepreneurs have huge untapped potential but very few will back them early (we do).

- Money is important, but the right community and advice matters more.

+ It's really hard founding a VC firm (as one of the few 'millennial partners' out there)
