Jaws: 50th Anniversary Film Viewing and Discussion
Lecture Theatre 200, Social Sciences Building (A02), University of Sydney, Camperdown Campus
Event description
Please come along to this free 50th anniversary screening and discussion of the motion picture Jaws.
We will host a cross-disciplinary viewing to highlight the impact of Jaws since its release on 20 June 1975.
Faculties from Arts, Law, and Science will note this moment that invented the "Summer Blockbuster" and changed public perceptions of sharks.
There will be a short panel discussion before and after, to set the scene and reflect, including colleagues from Film Studies, Marine Biology, and Government.
Students are welcome; please encourage your students to come along.
