JAYU Slams: Summer Edition is back! Join us for a powerful evening of poetry and performance as emerging and established voices hit the mic with raw, honest, and unforgettable work. Whether you're a spoken word lover or a first-time attendee, come ready to snap, cheer, and feel all the feels.

This is more than a poetry night, it’s community through the art of storytelling.

🗣️ Competing Poets
Selected poets will compete for a grand prize of $350. In recognition of their time, talent, and impact, all participating poets will receive $75. Whether seasoned performers or newcomers to the mic, each poet brings powerful stories and perspectives to the stage.
