Event description

Join us for a night of swinging jazz showcasing Carey Grammar jazz ensembles, in collaboration with leading professional jazz artists from around Melbourne. 

Featuring special guest:

Jamie Holmes and his band ‘No Parking’.


The performing Ensembles are: Big Band, Ellington, Improv, Stage Band, Big Band and All Stars, and the Senior Chamber Choir. 

Thursday 9 October in the J. O. Thomas Quadrangle.  Doors open 6pm for a 6.30pm start.

Ticket prices:
$22 performers  (all performers must purchase a ticket)
$32 audience

Seating is non-allocated tables of 8.

Please indicate if you are attending the event as part of the Carey Past Families Hub event, by selecting a Carey Past Families Hub ticket.

Dinner
The ticket price includes a choice of burger with chips, and an iconic FOCM Choc Top for dessert. 

Your choice of:   

  • Classic Angus beef burger with lettuce, relish and cheese

  • Chicken fillet burger with bacon, lettuce and mayo

  • Vegetable burger with char-grilled vegetable relish

Gluten free burger options are available.

Soft drinks will be available for purchase. Jazz in the Quad is an alcohol-free event.

Jazz in the Quad T-Shirts

Available for purchase are optional Jazz in the Quad T-Shirts for performers! Available now, you can wear them as your performance blacks on the night. $20 each. (No need to purchase again if you already have one).

Some list Senior Choir on the back and some don't: select which you prefer in the ticketing.
