Christoph El Truento
Christoph El Truento is a long time player in the musical landscape of Aotearoa as a producer and DJ. Having grown up in a family of DJs, he is widely known for deep-diving into multiple genres. Although reggae was the music that first caught his attention, Christoph spent his first decade of adulthood exploring the possibilities of producing hip-hop, jazz, electronica, ambient, and post-punk. Coming full circle, he has used the sum of what he’s learned to put a South Pacific twist on the sounds of his childhood. This is apparent in his collection of albums such as Dubs From The Neighbourhood, Peacemaker Dub, LWMP18, SSELLF, Foraging and A Series of Oopsie Daisies.
This notoriously elusive artist continues to surprise both critics and his dedicated fanbase with each release, gaining international traction as the producer to watch.
