Who Are JCI?

There are critical challenges in the world and young people play a significant role in addressing them – both now and in the future.    

JCI Sydney is a group of young leaders, aged 18-40, from different backgrounds, cultures and professions, who want to tackle these challenges head on.

For over 100 years, JCI members around the world have acted on one shared belief – the improvement of our society and environment is paramount, not just for us but also for future generations.

Areas Of Opportunity

JCI is all about learning by doing and taking action in a safe and supported environment. We empower young leaders with the skills they need to make positive change through events, training and community projects!

JCI’s 4 areas of development opportunities – community, individual, business and international – provide our members with endless opportunities to try new things and gain new skills. 

Becoming a member allows you to learn in our monthly development events, gain real experience and build skills through coordinating or assisting with events or projects, and network with a community of passionate, driven people!

What Projects Do You Do?

We have a range of projects and events you can take part in:

• JCI Sydney Training - How to Network - 11/07/24: training followed by social drinks afterwards in Sydney CBD
• JCI Illawarra Mix n' Mingle Night - 19/07/24: networking event with JCI Illawarra members and friends in Albion Park
• JCI Sydney Informal Drinks - 18/07/24: Join us for a Thursday Happy Hour at the heart of Sydney in Haymarket - Location TBC
• JCI Sydney Training - Enhance your Communication Skills - 01/08/24: training followed by social drinks afterwards in Sydney CBD
• JCI Sydney Training - Global Entrepreneur - 12/09/24: training followed by social drinks afterwards in Sydney CBD
• JCI Sydney Training - Global Changemaker - 03/10/24: training followed by social drinks afterwards in Sydney CBD
  
• JCI Australia National Convention - Wollongong - 15 to 17/11/24: a weekend with Friday Networking Night, Saturday and Sunday Day Conference with keynote speakers and panellists, debating & public speaking, and Saturday Gala Dinner

We also support any members with an idea for a project with resources and guidance to make it happen!
