PRE-RACE DINNER - JERICHO CUP 2024

Join us on the evening of Friday, November 29th for the Pre-Race Dinner to precede the 2024  Jericho Cup.

Time - 6 PM for pre-dinner drinks. 7 PM start for a two course dinner.

Keynote Speaker - Eamon Hale was born in Bushfield, moving to Melbourne as a child. He joined the Army Reserve in 2004 as an M113A1 crewman, and started full-time service in 2006, transferring to the Regular Army in 2007.He has been posted to numerous units across the Royal Australian Armoured Corps (RAAC) and Army, deploying on operations to Iraq and Afghanistan multiple times. He has also undertaken exchange and liaison postings to Canada and the UK, as well as training officer cadets in Papua New Guinea. In 2017, Eamon left the Regular Army, transferring to the Army Reserve and joining Victoria Police. In 2020, Eamon returned to the Army, being attached to 5th Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment and deploying to Afghanistan with them as a Force Protection Node Commander and Protected Mobility Vehicle (PMV) Section Commander. Eamon is active in the RSL, having held Vice President, President, and again the Vice Presidents role at the Hawthorn RSL, as well as being the Chairman for RSL Victoria’s Region 1, composed of 37 Melbourne sub-branches. He continues to serve in Victoria Police, and the Army Reserve. Living in Preston, Eamon and his wife Celia have two young children.

The Location - The event will be held at Rafferty's Tavern, 1145 Raglan Parade, Warrnambool.

Tickets - $55 pp - included in the price is a two course meal, guest speaker and entertainment. Drinks at bar prices.
