Jersey City Connects x Dancing Tony Park Clean-Up
Ready to make a difference in your community? 🌟 We've teamed with Dancing Tony for our volunteer event: a park clean-up at the cemetery! And we want YOU to be part of this incredible experience!
🗓 Date: Sunday, July 13
🕒 Time: 9AM to 11AM
📍 Location: Historic Jersey City and Harsimus Cemetery - 435 Newark Ave, Jersey City, NJ 07302
WHAT TO EXPECT
We’ll be working on a variety of outdoor tasks, including:
Removing weeds
Picking up trash and debris
Planting trees and garden maintenance
Mowing and weed-whacking
General clean-up to help restore the grounds
We’ll be providing all the tools and equipment you need.
WHAT TO WEAR
Long pants and closed-toe shoes (to help avoid ticks and poison ivy)
Comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting dirty
Sunscreen and bug spray (apply beforehand!)
A hat or sunglasses for sun protection
