Jewellery Making: Lost Wax Classes

Have you ever wanter make your own meaningful keepsake or bread and butter jewellery?

These classes will introduce you to the accessible processes of Lost Wax Carving and Casting where you will be guided by two practicing artists and silversmiths to create your own handmade pieces.

*Please note, this is a 2 part workshop that takes place over two classes - participants MUST complete both classes to complete 1 piece. Participants can make a ring OR necklace pendant and have it set in Sterling Silver (or a metal of choice) for an additional fee.

• Explore and try out different wax carving and shaping techniques

• Use of appropriate jewellery making tools

• Carve your own ring or pendant in wax

• Lost wax carving processes

Fee 1 - Classes $35 per class x 2 = $70

Payable upon booking

• $70 covers tuition, supply of wax and tools – please note, it doesn’t include the silver casting fee.

Fee 2 - Sterling Silver Casting Fee = $100 per person

Payable prior to October 5th 2026

Payable in person, online and via eftpos - this will be organised closer to date.

*Participants must pay for both classes to enrol - however, you can delay the Casting Fee until deadline of October 5th 2026.

Class 2: 26 October 2026 – 6PM-8:30PM

• Indoor classes in Greensborough, Melbourne

• 15-20 minute walk from Greensborough train station - various connecting buses available

• Onsite free, unlimited time parking. Around 20 spots

• One disability car spot outside building

• Building is wheelchair accessible via a ramp. This ramp is accessed via a child-safe locked gate, for support accessing the ramp please get in touch on 0423 452 922 on the day or let us know earlier

• Toilet is wheelchair accessible, uni-sex, gender-neutral

• Fidget items free-to-use inside entrance of building
