Do you work for a Local Council or Community Organisation in South Australia?
Want to equip your events team with the tools to create accessible and inclusive events—so that more people can attend and participate fully, including older adults, families with young children, CALD communities, people with disability and their support networks? Our Accessible Events Training is for you!
Inclusive events don’t just remove barriers—they open doors to more diverse community engagement.
When: Wednesday 13th August 2025 1:30 pm – 4:30 pm
Where: Online via Teams (link to be sent two days prior to the event, to all registered participants).
This training provides practical tools and inclusive strategies to help you plan and deliver events that are welcoming and accessible to all.
Key Topics and Learnings:
Normalising disability and fostering respectful interactions for successful event management
Building confidence to plan events with accessibility in mind
Identifying barriers to access and applying the social model of disability to event planning
Learning about accessibility tools and inclusive practices for before, during, and after your event
Advocating for accessibility and championing inclusion in your organisation or community
