Would you like practical tools to help make your events more accessible and inclusive, so more people can attend and participate?

Our Accessible Events Training is for you.

Inclusive events don't just remove barriers, they create opportunities for greater community participation.

This practical training will help you plan and deliver events that are welcoming and accessible to a diverse range of people, including people with disability, older people, families with young children, CALD communities and support networks.

Key topics and what you'll learn

• Build confidence planning events with accessibility in mind

• Identify common barriers to participation and consider how they can be removed

• Apply the Social Model of Disability to event planning

• Explore practical accessibility tools and inclusive approaches for before, during and after an event

• Support respectful interactions with people with disability

• Advocate for accessibility and champion inclusion within your organisation or community

Where: Online via Microsoft Teams. A link will be sent to registered participants two days before the session.
