Disability Inclusion Training: Next Steps builds on our Foundations training and is designed for people working or volunteering in local councils, community organisations, arts and culture, sport and recreation, emergency services, community health and wellbeing, and other community settings.

This free 90-minute online training will explore intersectionality, practical approaches to allyship, Universal Design and co-design, and ways to create meaningful and sustainable cultural change in your organisation or community.

Please note: Next Steps is designed for participants who have already completed our Disability Inclusion Training: Foundations.

What you'll take away

• Understand how the Citizenhood Model reframes disability and inclusion, and how intersectionality can help us recognise people's layered experiences.

• Explore how everyday actions and allyship can challenge ableism and support more inclusive workplaces and communities.

• Learn how Universal Design can create environments that work for more people, and how co-design centres people with lived experience in decision-making.

• Explore practical ways to shift organisational culture, embed inclusive values and support sustainable change.
