Join us for the annual commemoration event – hosted by the NSW Jewish Board of Deputies and the Sydney Jewish Museum and other communal organisations for commemoration and celebration of ‘Honouring Jewish Refugees from Arab Lands and Iran’.
This story is an important part of modern Jewish history, the NSW Jewish community and the entire Jewish diaspora and the demographic composition of the Middle East and North Africa.
The theme for this year’s commemoration will focus on the importance of artefacts and testimonies in showcasing Sephardi and Mizrahi history and culture.
We are inviting individuals from the Sephardi and Mizrahi communities to share their stories and specifics of their family artefacts. Please complete this survey if you would be interested in sharing.
