Description

Join Jordan Lake One Water (JLOW) for our Fall All Stakeholder Event, a chance to connect with partners from across the watershed and dig into one of the most pressing issues facing our region's water future. JLOW is a partnership of local governments, conservation groups, universities, water utilities, agriculture, and private industry stakeholders working together across the Jordan Lake watershed. Grounded in the belief that all water has value, our mission is to advance an integrated "One Water" approach - collaborating to manage water resources for long-term resilience and to realize watershed-wide environmental, societal, and economic benefits, while sharing the costs of water quality and quantity improvements. This fall's event will feature a panel of speakers exploring the intersection of water quality and data centers. As data center development accelerates across North Carolina, its demands on water supply and potential impacts on water quality raise important questions for our watershed. Our panelists will share diverse perspectives on what this growth means for the Jordan Lake watershed and how a collaborative, One Water approach can help our region respond. Come learn, share your perspective, and help shape the conversation. We look forward to seeing you there.
