A fantastic night of queer short films for you, my beautiful rainbow community!
Join us for a curated collection of short lesbian films from around the world - the very best ones! You'll love them, including Louise Lever’s own 'Joey's Heart'.
This will be a safe and inclusive space for us to gather, enjoy the films and mingle. This unique line up celebrates pride and our Rainbow culture, reflecting who we are on the big screen. These are high quality international films you won't see on a big screen in Australia. One night only - don't miss out!
Louise Lever
Louise is a respected film director, producer and writer. With an unwavering commitment to making a positive impact on LGBTQIA+ representation, Louise has over a decade of experience making films.
Louise has successfully navigated the process of funding her work through innovative means, including receiving a Postproduction Grant from the NZFC in 2023 for Joey’s Heart. This short film was selected for the BFI Flare Film Festival in London and has also screened at prestigious film festivals around the globe including the Roze FilmDagen in Amsterdam.
