The Early Doors Club at ST George's Church w/ John Bramwell (I Am Kloot)

John Bramwell (I Am Kloot), live at St George’s Church

Friday January 8th, doors 5pm

John Bramwell is back at St George’s to start the new year, and we couldn’t think of a better way to do it.

As the voice behind I Am Kloot, Bramwell wrote songs full of poetry, wit and a good deal of heart, enough to earn a Mercury Prize nomination for The Sky At Night and a Top 10 album with Let It All In. Cate Blanchett has called him her favourite songwriter of all time. Since the band ended he’s built a solo career of his own, most recently with the album The Light Fantastic, and it’s his live shows where the songs really come alive.

Expect I Am Kloot favourites alongside his solo material, and the kind of stories and dry humour he’s known for between songs. It’s a perfect fit for a high-ceilinged church, where every word and every note gets room to land.
