Eligibility for this musical event is children aged grade 2 - 18yrs of age. (can be 18yrs old)
Children younger than grade 2 may attend if they have an older sibling also participating or a parent is willing to be a helper for the week.

Performance 1: 1:30pm Saturday 12 April followed by
Performance 2: 5:00pm Saturday 12 April

Anticipated attendance will be from 12 midday show day. Ample notification will be given if this time needs to change.
Join us for an intensive week of all things musical!
Children will learn dance, songs and stage work and come together to put on two performances on Saturday 12th April.
Cost per child for the week is $150 however the Livingstone Shire Council have generously subsidised the event to help keep it affordable for all families. The cost per participant is now $100 for the whole week of rehearsals and shows
All participants are expected to be present for all rehearsals and both shows.

Requirements per child:
- Black clothing (children may require a small costume addition (e.g. a feather boa, coloured socks, etc.)
- Covered shoes for rehearsal week and black covered shoes for performances
- Daily lunches, water and hats (for meal breaks)
- Participants must be in attendance from 9:00am, and collected promptly at the end of each day at 3:00pm.
- We expect that each child who participates in this event will be compassionate and respectful toward staff and each other. If there are any identified behaviours of concern throughout the program, the Yeppoon Choral Society will contact you in the first instance. If this behaviour continues, the Yeppoon Choral Society may ask your child to exit the program at any time. There will not be a refund provided.
- If your child is sick or unwell, you will be expected to collect them within a 60 minute timeframe.
- If your child sustains life-threatening injuries, you give us consent to contact emergency services.
- Your child may be photographed as part of the cast for promotional purposes, but please notify us if you have any concerns. A consent form will be made available after registration.
- If your child has any disability or requires additional supports, please advise us so that we can ensure inclusion and accessibility needs are met.
Upon payment of the registration fee ($100), please note that $15 of that fee will be for child membership of the Yeppoon Choral Society. This is to help contribute towards insurance and administrative costs. The remainder of the fee will be used to cover the licence fee, props, costumes, sets and other expenses related to the show.
Once registration is complete, an email will be sent with some finer details and expectations of the week. Please watch your inbox and junk folders for this.
