Description

Join the Dance Leads to Chaos Community Cast - Kabi Kabi Country / Sunshine Coast

Come take part in an epic large-scale dance work as part of the Dance Leads to Chaos Community Cast!

These workshops are built for absolutely everyone — the younger, the older, the in-betweens, experienced dancers, first-time dancers, the not-so-mobile and even those not so sure about getting on stage (you might just forget your fear).

You'll attend three workshops at your chosen location, come together for a full Community Cast dress rehearsal, then hit the stage alongside professional dance artists for two performances of Dance Leads to Chaos across the Sunshine Coast.

FAQs

  • Will the dancing be hard?

We think that you can learn whats needed in the workshop time. But we do want you to go through the steps at home so that you're feeling confident on the big day

  • What should I wear?

We want you to feel comfortable. To the workshops you should wear what you move best in. On the big day we will be in full costume that we will talk about through the workshops. We do not require you to go out and buy anything, instead we hope that you can find what you already have and freshen it up, or borrow something from a friend, or if thats your thing, you can make something. We will also be running some fun costume workshops so you can get creative!

  • What if I miss a workshop?

Life happens. We want you to try your hardest to be at the three workshops but sometimes we get sick, or something happens that prevents us from making it on time. If you have the capacity you can always visit another locations workshop, otherwise we will have everything you need to know on video. You can also make friends and make a practice group.

  • Can I bring my kids?

Guardians are welcome to bring kids who can also take part in the workshops.. ***. We also invite children to be part of the show

  • Are the venues wheelchair accessible?

Yes. Specific access info for all workshop venues will be available on our socials and will be sent out via email with your welcome pack courtesy of our access partner Let's Go who will also be provided access support on show day at the performance venue.
