Talise A. Campbell is a dancer, choreographer, and educator who strives to connect audiences to the beauty of diasporic music, dance, history, and folklore. An acclaimed artist, she celebrates African and diasporic traditions through socially engaged performances for theater, film, stage, and public spaces. As Founding Executive Artistic Director of Djapo Cultural Arts Institute, she has impacted communities through workshops, international travel, performances, and residencies. With over two decades in education, she integrates cultural arts into academia, mentoring youth, and fostering community connections. Her choreographic work has graced global stages, bridging past and present through the transformative power of dance, research, and cultural exchange.
