Highly active in Sydney’s singer-songwriter and experimental music scenes, multi-instrumentalist Josh Shipton has curated events such as The Sydney Cringe Festival and performed in many multiple ensembles including TRIANGLE, Marquis De Sound, Meat Safe, The Murder Of Crow, and Box Freezer. Fiercely independent, extraordinarily eccentric, untamed and eclectic, Josh will be performing on Saturday evening with his co-conspirators the Blue Eyed Ravens.
NOF is the duo of Anousheh St-Germain and Solomon Barbar, whose work traverses both written songs and improvisation. The duo builds immersive sound through repetition, tension and texture…operating somewhere between control and collapse.
The Rosemary Sisters “emerged from a haunted civic planning office after deciphering medieval prophecy etched in the concrete of a multi-storey carpark and read in the wintry bark of the silver birch”. What more can we say, other than come along on the night and see if you can decipher their arcane musings?!
