Joyful Gardens Painting Workshop
Uncover the joy of impressionist painting as you create your very own whimsical flower garden.
This workshop is designed for beginners or those wanting to build their creative confidence. Artist Ineka Voigt will take you through the essentials of colour theory and mark making using acrylic paint. From first brush marks to finishing touches, she will assist you to create a unique garden composition guided by reference materials and your imagination.
What to bring:
- If you have a special connection to your garden, bring a few candid photos on your phone that inspire you.Â
- Dress for mess!
We will provide:
- All painting and reference materials
- Refreshments
- Two hours of guidance and enthusiasm
Ineka Voigt is a visual artist based in Kamberri/Canberra and regularly paints the garden as a symbol of wellness and sanctuary. Ineka is a trained Artist Educator at the National Gallery of Australia. She has also facilitated dozens of painting workshops in her role as Artist in Residence on the touring art shows Van Gogh Alive and Monet in Paris, and is delighted to share her love of painting at Tyger Gallery.
