"Joyce Prescher is one of my favourite Melburnian musicians. She just has one of these voices that completely fills the room, unamplified. She's a really beautiful artist." — Gerard Elson, Triple R

About the Artists
Joyce Prescher
Dutch-born Joyce Prescher brings a quiet intensity to contemporary folk, crafting poetic, slow-burning songs rich in melody and emotional depth. Her writing carries a European sensibility shaped by landscape, memory and belonging — intimate, immersive and deeply affecting. Joyce is a two-time Australian Folk Music Awards finalist and is signed to Cheersquad Records with 2 acclaimed albums to her name.
Mandy Connell
Mandy Connell is a much-loved and respected figure in the Australian folk community, a masterful storyteller known for her luminous songs and deep connection to the Anglo-Celtic folk traditions that shaped Australia’s folk revival. Following years of collaboration including festival-favourites The Stray Hens, she returns to her solo work with a long-awaited new album in 2026. Mandy is a recipient of the Declan Affley Award and Maldon Minstrel Award.
Craig Kelly
Accompanying them on double bass is Craig Kelly, an in-demand multi-instrumentalist who has performed with some of the country’s great storytellers — including Neil Murray (Warumpi Band), Mick Thomas (Weddings, Parties, Anything), Michael Waugh, Sara Storer, Bill Chambers, Rich Davies & The Low Road, and is a regular collaborator with both Mandy and Joyce, bringing a warm, unifying thread to the performance.
Collectively, the artists have performed at major festivals including Woodford Folk Festival, Byron Blues & Roots, Port Fairy Folk Festival, National Folk Festival and WOMADelaide, as well as internationally across the UK, Europe and North America.
