JPlay!

Welcome to JPlay!

Families of all kinds with children under 5 years old are invited to join us for fun-filled weekly programming tailored to Jewish Brooklyn families held Sunday mornings (10am) at The Senesh School.

Stay warm and play inside with us with a variety of fun, play-based activities with a Jewish touch to keep little hands and minds busy (plus coffee to keep the big ones awake!). With the support of an amazing rotating cast of community partners and educators we’ll sing, dance, craft, read, play and have lots of fun!  

• Multiple zones for play-based fun with blocks, magnetic tiles, building materials, dolls, and more!
• Arts & crafts station with a weekly craft especially for little hands 
• Fun sing-along led by Tkiya Music and other amazing community song-leaders
• Cozy book nook with Jewish stories to read together from our friends at PJ Library
• Hebrew activities through our partners at Rishon B’Yachad and JCC Brooklyn
• Children's book and clothing exchange
• …and always, snacks for littles and COFFEE and light nosh for bigs

RSVP to join the fun on one or multiple upcoming Sundays** in Winter/Spring 2025!  RSVP is always FREE, $10 per child will be collected at the door.

Rishon B'Yachad (ראשון ביחד) is building a vibrant community of Hebrew-speaking families in Brooklyn.  We are excited to join forces to grow the fun and infuse Hebrew-language exposure through music and other play-based activities on select weeks.

JCC Brooklyn is a pluralistic Jewish Community Center located in three physical sites (Windsor Terrace, North Williamsburg and Clinton Hill) as well as in pop-up spaces. We are inspired by Jewish values and ideas and we welcome all families regardless of background.

PJ Library sends high-quality Jewish children's books to families around the world every month, completely FREE and Senesh is thrilled to partner with PJ Library to offer your family the gift of free books that celebrate Jewish values and culture!  EACH CHILD in your family, from 0-8 years old, can receive their own age-appropriate Jewish-themed book in the mail every month. Sign up all eligible and interested children on your JPlay! registration!  Families with children ages 9-12 are invited to sign up for PJ Our Way, PJ Library's chapter book program, directly at pjourway.org.

Tkiya creates participatory music experiences that meet participants where they are – physically, psychologically, and spiritually – to find their unique connection to Jewish culture and community.
