JS (USA) x Perila (GER) + guests live at Gang Gang
Event description
On Saturday, April 27, in collaboration with Pointed Star and FITT Tek Records, Gang Gang Café hosts an evening of immersive, listening-focused music.
Jesse Sappell a.k.a JS (Motion Ward, Los Angeles) brings a thoughtful and considered style that is strikingly present within the spatial soundscapes found across their renowned label Motion Ward. After a decade of careful and singular curation, Jesse and the label have grown in to a shining example of careful intention within music.
Perila (Berlin) crafts ambient music embedded with a deeply poetic sense of movement. Through her unique recording techniques and textural sensibilities, her music is deeply intimate and moving, reaffirming itself as art that can exist only within the medium of sound.
With local support from Sia Ahmad, Umki, and Discobasis.
