JSD: ELC PJ Day - Donations to Melbourne City Mission

Join us in participating in our annual PJ Day Monday, 7 August Cockatoo Group; and  Wednesday, 9 August Echidna Group.

The purpose of the day is to think about those less fortunate, bringing awareness to children about social justice issues in the community helping foster a sense of kindness, generosity and social responsibility.

Carey has a strong social justice ethos beginning in the ELC. PJ Day is a great way for our children to make a difference. We are raising money for Melbourne City Mission supporting people in our own town who are doing it tough.

Melbourne City Mission is a leading community support organisation, working alongside people to live the life they aspire to, their way, providing a broad range of support in: Homelessness, Early Years and Education service areas.

For over 165 years, Melbourne City Mission has sought to create inclusive, fair and just communities across Victoria, to ensure all people have equal access to opportunities.
