Katy's Julia Gillard Raffle

October 9 marks 9 years since Julia Gillard stood up in the Parliament and told Tony Abbott exactly what women around Australia had been thinking for so long:

"I will not be lectured about sexism and misogyny by this man. Not now, not ever”.

Here we are, 9 years later, and I am sad to say that little has changed.

Women and girls across the country are still having to march for justice, all while we have a Prime Minister who approaches the issues facing women as a political problem to fix rather than as a genuine social issue that requires urgent action.

We can’t afford another three years of the Morrison/Joyce Government.

We need national leadership, legislative change, and a government that will listen, and more importantly, that will take action.

We need an Albanese Labor Government.

And I need your support to make that happen.
