Two exceptional and accomplished new voices on the Scottish music scene, Juliette Lemoine (cello) and Chris Amer (tenor guitar) together explore traditional Scottish music with originality, energy and depth. Recent highlights include their headline performance at Celtic Connections (2024), performing at London Jazz Festival (2024), and supporting folk supergroup LAU at Kings Place, London (2024). Individually, they have established themselves on the UK scene: Lemoine’s debut album ‘Soaring’ launched with a sold-out headline show at Celtic Connections (2023), and was later long-listed for the Scottish Album of the Year award (2023), whilst Amer’s distinctive sound and unique playing style have led to his being widely sought after across the Scottish jazz and folk scenes, touring regularly with Matt Carmichael and the Danny-Kyle Award-winning band ‘Tern’. Together, Juliette Lemoine & Chris Amer’s live performances are an immersive dialogue characterised by rich emotional colour, close interaction and vibrant spontaneity.

Pianodrome Bruntsfield is at The St.Oswald's Center at 41 Montpelier Park, Bruntsfield, Edinburgh EH10 4NB, just parallel to the main street and next to the primary school. It has an accessible entrance and an accessible toilet. Please get in touch if there is anything else you'd like to ask or tell us prior to your visit.

The Pianodrome is based in a 130 year old ex church building, and currently the space is unheated, so please remember to wrap up warm.

Concessions

We do not check your right to a concession or name your price ticket. If you feel you can afford the full price please select this ticket. However, concessions prices are there to help anybody attend the show - if you need a lower cost ticket you are in the best position to determine that. No questions asked.

Accessibility

You do not need a ticket for babies, but if your child is likely to take space in a seat then please book them a ticket.

Non-human visitors
