July Monthly Mingle
Event description
This month we are pleased to welcome Julia Landford as our guest speaker. Julia is the Founding Director of NatureArt Lab, established in 2017 and is an award-winning wildlife and botanical artist with a passion for nature. She has a strong interest in interdisciplinary art and science approaches to environmental conservation and advocacy.
The Monthly Mingle is an informal get-together that aims to bring people closer to their local food system and community. They are a relaxed and social opportunity to share food, stories, and views on sustainability and our food system. And creativity!
As usual, before Julia’s talk, we’ll be firing up the pizza oven and will provide pizza bases, sauce, and cheese; please bring other pizza toppings for our volunteers to prepare various options to share.
Lunch: 12.30 to 1:30 pm
Talk: 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm
